ART

OF

LIFE

virginia baker woolf - contemporary australian artist

Virginia is an emerging artist who works in acrylic and mixed media, fascinated by the interplay of texture, structure, colour and line.  Virginia’s works are crafted through a felt sense translated through purposeful design, spontaneous markings, textured, worn and scratched surfaces and multiple layering in acrylic paint, charcoal, oil stick and other mixed media. Each painting is a world of its own, deeply impacted by the smallest mark.

Virginia is currently studying with Contemporary Australian Artists Pamela Cowper and Barbara Goldin.

Virginia was born in Sydney, has lived, studied and worked for extended periods in Spain and France and currently resides in Sydney.  When she’s not painting she’s busy assisting people to thrive as an Executive Coach.
